I know Shyam will be sending out and posting one of his wonderful, thoughtful emails regarding what happened yesterday at ftx 12, but I just have to say it was an amazing experience for me. I was so incredibly moved by the whole thing and felt a sense of stillness, love , compassion and intense sadness for the level of homelessness in our city of Angeles. I saw real gratitude from folks, I saw sickness, I saw many things, though really for me, mostly what I saw was the top of griddle #2 next to my great friend Shyam. Pictures and more coming soon I am sure. I was so infused with ftx love after the event that I came home and finished the ftx 11 slideshow, which will be posted shortly.
